Conte’s immediate future as coach at Stamford Bridge has been the subject of increasing rumours in the past few weeks.

And that is aftermath of numerous reports hinting that the Italian’s spell at the club is winding to a close.

However, agent Federico Pastorello has the strong belief that Conte will respect his three-year deal at the West London outfit.

“Conte has already been through that experience and prefers to work with the squad on a daily basis,” Pastorello stated.

“I see him going on to remain at Chelsea next year as he has a contract valid for another season-and-a-half.

“And from the little I know of him, he does not really like to leave things half-way without completing them.” Pastorello summed up.

Giroud expresses relief following maiden Chelsea goal

Chelsea front-man, Olivier Giroud has expressed his relief following his maiden goal for the reigning champions of the Premier League.

The Frenchman has stated that “it was important” for him to open his goals account for his new London side.

And that is after the attacker found the net in the Blues’ 4-0 bashing of Hull City on Friday night.

Yet another forward player, Willian scored a brace while winger, Pedro Rodriguez also got on target for the West Londoners.

It led to the current Premier League champions securing their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Friday.

That was courtesy of the four goal victory against Championship and struggling club, the Tigers right at Stamford Bridge.

“I was waiting for it, that was due to the fact I had a couple of chances in previous games.

“It was important for me to score my first goal, it has relieved me a little bit,” Giroud informed reporters.

“We can see the team had a good team cohesion, it was important to bounce back after some disappointing results.

“This confidence is very important to carry on like that, we need momentum, everything is going in the right way.

“We have great pleasure with our last two games, so let us carry on,” the former Arsenal forward summed up.
