Barcelona skipper, Andres Iniesta has ruled out in totality the possibility of Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar eventually joining Real Madrid.
The Spanish international who has refused to make comments on the Brazilian ace to Madrid speculation has finally spoken out.
Iniesta has now stated in very clear terms that he would have huge disappointment if Neymar ended up at Madrid.
Meanwhile, Madrid have reportedly gone on to reach an agreement with PSG’s poster boy, Neymar over a deal in 2019.
A report emerged recently that Madrid president, Florentino Perez had left the door open for Neymar to join the Spaniards.
The executive had informed the Brazilian he would have more opportunity of clinching the Ballon d’Or at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Neymar finished in the third position at this year’s award ceremony which took place in Paris, France last week Thursday.
That was the situation as Los Blancos talisman and forward, Cristiano Ronaldo came out on top on a fifth occasion.
And with yet another triumph, the Portuguese international has gone on to match the record of Barcelona ace, Lionel Messi.
This implies that Neymar has now finished directly behind the dominant duo of bitter rivals, Messi and Ronaldo two times.
Despite that, though, Perez has a very strong feeling the situation would have been different if Neymar did the needful.
And the needful according to Perez is for Neymar to depart PSG for the Spanish capital in the nearest future.
“Being in Madrid would make it easier to win the Ballon d’Or,” the Galacticos president made the disclosure to Marca.
“Real Madrid is a club which gives all you need as a big player, I wanted to sign him earlier.” Perez summed up.
Madrid reportedly reach Neymar agreement over 2019 deal
Real Madrid have reportedly made a decision to postpone the potential swoop for Paris Saint-Germain attacking ace, Neymar until 2019.
That is the latest development as regards Los Blancos who are now ready to delay moving for the Brazilian international.
Meanwhile, Neymar on his part has laughed off rumours of himself having plans to move to Madrid as mere joke.
Furthermore, the Brazilian sensation has hit out at speculations he wants to leave PSG, insisting they are only false imaginations.
There has been a claim suggesting the former Santos star is not enjoying life in France and wants to depart.
Iniesta has also said that he has huge doubts over his former Barcelona colleague probably moving to the Santiago Bernabeu.
“Anything can happen in football and I would not rule it out,” El Mundo Deportivo quotes Iniesta as saying.
“We have seen lots of times how there are situations which seem unlikely or impossible but they end up happening.
“If Neymar was to join Madrid? It would annoy me in the sense that he wins matches.
“And then, he would also be strengthening a direct rival to Barca but I have absolutely no worries,” Iniesta concluded.
