Barcelona forward, Neymar has thanked his team-mates for helping him reach his 100th overall goal for the Catalans since joining.
The Brazilian international has further revelled in his milestone match after joining the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
And that is aftermath of Neymar going ahead to join both players in finally making it into Barcelona’s 100-goal club.
The 25-year-old made it a century of goals in just 177 games across all competitions for the La Liga giants.
And that was the situation as Barca taught Granada a few football lessons by thumping them 4-1 on Sunday night.
Neymar who made a move to Barca from Santos in the summer of 2013 reached his landmark in stoppage time.
And that was when the prolific forward hit the back of the net with a left-footed volley against lowly Granada.
Neymar has thus followed in the footsteps of his fellow compatriots from Brazil, Rivaldo and Evaristo.
And that is in becoming the third Brazilian player to reach the milestone at the Camp Nou giants.
Neymar happy to reach 100th Barca goal
“I am happy to reach goal 100 and I dedicate it to my colleagues who always help me.” Neymar disclosed to Barca TV.
“But apart from my 100th goal, I am happy with the victory against Granada and that is the important thing.
“I stay with everyone because everyone’s been important but the best of all was the first in the Super Cup.” Neymar summed up.
Neymar came into the La Liga clash with Granada having scored against Paraguay and Uruguay during the last international break.
The forward who is Brazil’s skipper scored the goals for Le Selecao during the CONMEBOL FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
Meanwhile, Brazil have become the first country to qualify for the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup after the host nation.
The Brazilian national team also did that in style, winning all of their nine matches so far under coach, Tite.
Furthermore, Neymar has so far hit the back of the net 15 times across all competitions for Barca this season.
