Barcelona midfielder, Paulinho has reportedly agreed to re-join Guangzhou Evergrande in a summer deal worth within the range of £44m.
The 29-year-old, meanwhile, only made a switch to the Camp Nou from the Chinese Super League during last year’s summer.
And ever since then, he has netted nine goals in 49 overall games for the Blaugrana during the 201718 season.
Paulinho has, however, had a lot of links with an imminent return to the Chinese Super League in recent times.
And the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder recently made an admittance that he could leave the Catalans after only a year.
According to a concrete report coming from Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian has now agreed to make a return to China.
Furthermore, Guangzhou have tabled a ‘tempting bid’ to the South American who could earn more than £40m in four years.
The move would also see Barca make a massive profit on Paulinho whom they signed for £35m just last year.
Valverde banks on Paulinho for midfield solidity

Paulinho underwent a medical with club doctors on Thursday before putting pen to paper on a long-term deal.
And immediately after his medical, the Catalan outfit’s officials presented Paulinho with Barca’s number 15 jersey.
He told reporters: “You have to face challenges with courage, I will try to do my job and I am prepared.
“It is a very satisfying moment, the dream I have been looking for has come true, I will give everything.” Paulinho concluded.
Paulinho featured in a total number of 63 matches for Guangzhou in the Chinese Super League.
