Paulinho makes Guangzhou return

OFFICIAL: Paulinho has made a re-union with Guangzhou Evergrande on loan from Barcelona where he played for just one season

Midfielder, Paulinho has made a departure from Barcelona in order to make a quick return to former club, Guangzhou Evergrande.

Reports from the Spanish media have stated that the 29-year-old has rejoined the Chinese team on a season-long loan deal.

The South American midfield battler only made a switch to the Camp Nou from Guangzhou during last summer’s transfer window.

And ever since then, he has netted nine goals in 49 overall games for the Blaugrana during the 201718 season.

Paulinho has, however, had a lot of links with an imminent return to the Chinese Super League in recent times.

And the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder recently made an admittance that he could leave the Catalans after only a year.

According to a concrete report coming from Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian has now agreed to make a return to China.

However, he has now returned to the Chinese Super League initially on a season-long loan after receiving a tempting offer.

Paulinho agrees to re-join Guangzhou in £44m deal

Barcelona midfielder, Paulinho has reportedly agreed to re-join Guangzhou Evergrande in a summer deal worth within the range of £44m.

The 29-year-old, meanwhile, only made a switch to the Camp Nou from the Chinese Super League during last year’s summer.
