Ronda Rousey working with new trainer

Following Ronda Rousey’s second straight quick loss at UFC 207 late last year,  UFC experts including president Dana White siad that the former champ is unlikely to ever step in the cage again.

Rousey herself refused to comment on it, but her budding acting career and large bank account made it pretty easy to figure that out. However working with the new trainer means she is expected back soon.

Normally some small signs and rumours pop up that make it look like she could possibly return. Another of those came up this week with a strength and nutrition trainer named Dan Garner taking to social media to announce that he was working with Rousey:

Dan Garner said in the post:

“Wanted to give a good welcoming post to Ronda Rousey who has just recently joined the team, and is all set for the comprehensive nutritional programming process with myself. Excited to have her on board and to accomplish some great things with her this year.

Let’s go!”

Dan Garner has worked with a bevy of regional MMA fighters in the past and all average fighter, but no one near the level of Rousey.

We are still waiting for more information and data to draw any sort of conclusion.

Ronda Rousey might just be interested in cleaning up her diet and that’s all? Absolutely. But when you get to the level of stardom that Ronda has, and you haven’t made your intentions crystal clear, people are going to speculate. So could this be the first step towards a return to the sport? Sure. But it could be 100 other things as well. Don’t get your hopes up.
