He has also insisted that the Champions League dismantling of the minnows, Plzen was about the players rather than him.

Real have won all three games across all competitions since Solari came in as replacement for former manager, Julen Lopetegui.

This has now brought about speculation that his stay in the Santiago Bernabeu hotseat may not be temporary after all.

Solari said on “It is impossible to win 5-0 away in the Champions League and not play a great game.

“I am very happy but this was all about the players.

“And that is because we have some brilliant players here who have no limits.

“The players deserve this and focus now switches to the next match.

“We came into the game with full focus and it showed.

“I believe we have the players here to score lots of goals and that was what we did,” he concluded.

Solari urges Bale to take centre stage for Madrid

Real Madrid interim manager, Santiago Solari has urged forward, Gareth Bale to take centre stage for the club this season.

Bale is under intense pressure to regularly find the net for Madrid this term after the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo.

In-spite of this, the Welsh international has only managed four goals in twelve Los Blancos games in all competitions, however.

And as a result of this, his early-season club form has been a subject of a whole lot of question-marks.

Solari has, however said that the former Tottenham Hotspur winger “has the spotlight” at the fumbling Spanish La Liga outfit.

And the Spanish tactician has called on the 29-year-old to produce the goods for the European champions in subsequent matches.

“He has the spotlight and I hope that he will now go ahead to show us all his huge talent.

“We all want to enjoy him every day and that is because he is a fantastic player,” Solari informed reporters.
