The artwork came to the public glare on Sunday at the World Youth Forum (WYF) taking place in Sharm al-Sheikh.

It depicts the forward with his arms out wide in the goal-scoring celebration which lots of people know him for.

But people have suggested it looks more like singer, Leo Sayer or Marv the burglar from the film Home Alone.

The sculpture of Salah joins a long list of other sculptures in the football world that have left fans scratching their heads about likeness.

Milner insists Salah won’t be a fluke

Liverpool midfielder, James Milner has insisted he is confident his team-mate and attacker, Mohamed Salah will not be a fluke.

The English international has also stated that he believes that Salah will not eventually turn out to be one-season wonder.

Milner has futher backed the under-scrutiny prolific goal-scorer to deal with the pressure he is facing at this very moment.

Salah actually beat all expectations with his maiden campaign for the Reds last term, scoring 44 goals in all competitions.

That included a record 32 goals in the Premier League en route to winning the PFA and FWA player awards.

The Egyptian winger’s form so far this season has, however, had a whole lot of question-marks.

But Milner is so much confident that his colleague can thrive under the pressure.

And the veteran midfielder also believes that the North African sensation’s next target should be to collect more match balls.

Milner said they had been teasing Salah about his supposed struggles, jokingly telling him he has to score more hat-tricks.

“I said ‘Mo, it is not only one year’ and he said ‘You’re right!’,” he said to reporters.

“We were joking but if someone can deal with pressure, it is Mo.

“Last season, he had pressure when people were saying he had to be the top scorer of the league.

“Mo is not someone that is scared of pressure, he embraces the pressure and he knows he can do it.” Milner stated.
